Humana to create 620 jobs in Irving

IRVING – Louisville, Ky.-based health and wellness company Humana Inc. announced it plans to open a mail order pharmacy call center and support operation that is expected to create more than 620 new jobs over the next three years.

The company plans to hire pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, customer service representatives and data entry clerks.

RightSource, Humana’s pharmacy management company, will operate the facility that is expected to open in August 2013.

Once Humana staffs its mail-order pharmacy facility, Humana, with its subsidiaries Concentra and LifeSynch, will have more than 2,500 employees in North Texas. The new RightSource facility adjoins the LifeSynch office at 2101 W. John Carpenter Fwy.
