Senior living facility breaks ground in Houston

HOUSTON – Houston-based Belmont Village Senior Living has broken ground on an assisted-living and memory care facility at 7667 Woodway Dr.

The 158-unit complex will consist of assisted-living and memory care services. The building will be a six-story midrise spanning 113,000 sf. The project is expected to create 100 construction jobs and then between 75 and 100 full-time jobs once the project is completed in about 14 months.

Belmont Village has an existing Houston location at 2929 W. Holcombe Blvd.

In addition to Houston, Belmont is building in Dallas and Austin, with those operations expected to open in August and 2014, respectively. Belmont has 22 locations across Arizona, California, Chicago and Texas.
