Zachry takes NuStar’s former space in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – Zachry Construction Co. has closed on the purchase of Building I at the Heritage Oaks at Inwood office park, located at 12625 Wetmore Rd. in North Central San Antonio. The space formerly housed the headquarters of NuStar Energy LP.

The 84,000-sf structure will serve as the new headquarters for Zachry. The Bexar County Appraisal District currently lists its value at $12 million.

Zachry is slated to move in during mid to late summer, according to Shawn Gulley, vice president of leasing for R.L. Worth & Associates.

Besides vacating all of Heritage Oaks I, NuStar also left behind 37,000 sf of space in Building II, which is 108,000 sf. A new lease was recently finalized on 14,000 sf in Building II. The tenant is NuStar Asphalt LLC, a division of NuStar Energy.
