DESOTO – New York City-based McGraw-Hill Cos. Inc., an affiliate of McGraw-Hill Financial Inc., plans to move its large southwest regional distribution hub from North Texas to Ohio as part of a consolidation.

McGraw-Hill’s 20-acre, 382,288-sf industrial property at 220 E. Danieldale Rd. is being marketed for $45 per sf, or $2.99 per sf per month on a net-lease basis.

McGraw-Hill plans to vacate its longtime North Texas operations at the facility in August 2013. The company has operated the distribution hub in the facility since 1986.

North Texas has absorbed 6 million sf of industrial space so far this year, with an expected annual absorption of 12.5 million sf of industrial space by the end of 2013, said Kevin Santaularia, president and CEO of Bradford Commercial.
