NORTH FORT WORTH – One of the country’s largest government projects — a new $160 million, 357,214-sf Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) complex — will be built in the Alliance development at the northeast corner of I-35W and Heritage Trace Parkway near Alliance Airport.

The FAA’s southwest regional headquarters and Air Traffic Organization’s central service area and center plan to office from the new building, after signing a 20-year lease.

The six-story building will be underway on the 45-acre site at Alliance Park in September. The project is a joint venture between Trammell Crow Co. and USAA Real Estate Co. The developer expects completion in October 2015. The building will house almost 1,600 FAA workers.
