Minnesota Ganders migrate to Mesquite, Lewisville

MESQUITE, LEWISVILLE – Gander Mountain will add four new Texas stores in the coming months, expanding the network of outdoor specialty stores to Lewisville, Mesquite, Round Rock and San Antonio.

All four stores are scheduled to open in fall 2013. Gander Mountain officials expect as many as 350 jobs to be created in Texas as a result of the expansion.

Lewisville will see a new Gander Mountain store in a 45,000-sf space at 723 Hebron Pkwy., just off I-35E at Exit 448A, in the Lakepointe Towne Crossing Shopping Center.

Mesquite will be home to the first Gander Mountain Firearms Super Center in Texas, located in a 31,000-sf space at 3775 Childress Ave., just off the LBJ Fwy. at Exit 7A.

Round Rock Gander Mountain will be a remodeled 51,000-sf Sportsman’s Warehouse at 3021 S. I-35 in the Round Rock Crossing Shopping Center.

San Antonio will see a new Gander Mountain store in a 49,000-sf space at 8203 State Highway 151, just off I-410 at Exit 9A, in the Westover Marketplace Shopping Center.
