HOUSTON – Gateway Memorial City, slated for completion in fall 2013, will be a two-story, mixed-use MetroNational Corp. development totaling about 90,000 sf.

The project will front I-10 and will feature spaces that are built-to-suit for the tenants.

Several tenant deals have been signed, including: Kuu, a modern Japanese restaurant, Vallone’s steakhouse, which will occupy about 11,000 sf, and Brazilian steakhouse Churrascos, which will occupy 8,407 sf.

“The physical structure of the project is finished, but it’s really going to be ongoing as we continue to curate restaurants and boutiques,” said Steve Nisenson, director of marketing for MetroNational. “We have the ability to be patient and make sure we have the best retailers for the project. We expect leasing to continue over the next year.”
