Fort Worth geriatric psychiatric hospital underway

FORT WORTH – Construction has begun on a single-story, 34,000-sf geriatric psychiatric hospital at 6300 Overton Ridge Blvd., on the west side of the street, before it ends at the I-20 frontage road. The 48-bed facility, which will care for people 55 and older, is expected to be completed in May 2014.

Audubon Behavioral Healthcare and SRP Medical in Dallas are building the hospital.
