EL PASO – University Medical Center opened its new Center for Diagnostic and Advanced Endoscopy. The $2.5 million, 25,000-sf facility is located at UMC at 4815 Alameda.
The expanded center, ten times larger than its previous facility, allowed UMC to expand its endoscopy program, which is staffed by gastroenterologists. Gastroenterology focuses on the digestive system and its disorders.
"It is a first-class facility that is staffed by a team of first-class specialists. They are making a real difference in their patients’ lives," UMC President James N. Valenti said in a news release.
