Woodlands company wastes no time expanding

HOUSTON – Woodlands-based Waste Connections Inc. is opening a new, multimillion-dollar hauling facility and office space in south Houston near Beltway 8 South.

The new facility, located at 109 White Road, has seven acres of land with 11,300 sf of office space, said Ron Mittelstaedt, Waste Connections’ CEO. The facility is expected to house 25 to 30 employees. However, the number of employees will double within the next two years.

In addition to opening the new facility in south Houston, Waste Connections will move into its new corporate headquarters at 3 Waterway Square Place in the Woodlands, where it preleased 50,000 sf.

Waste Connections has three other yard facilities in Houston, two in north Houston and one in Angleton.
