Omaha stakes second 2013 San Antonio apartment buy
SAN ANTONIO – Omaha, Neb.-based Metonic Real Estate Services purchased The Fountains of San Antonio, a 101-unit apartment complex at 8630 Fairhaven St. in Northwest San Antonio. Built in 1978, The Fountains is currently 98 percent occupied.
Seldin Co. assumed property-management duties of the complex at closing. The Fountains purchase reflects Metonic’s plans to expand its footprint in Texas, according to Brian Morrissey, managing principal of the firm.
“The San Antonio market boasts excellent fundamentals and has yielded exceptional opportunities for our investors,” he adds.
The Fountains, in fact, marks the latest buy for Metonic in San Antonio. In February, the firm purchased Sierra Ridge, a 230-unit apartment community located at 1401 Patricia Dr. in North Central San Antonio.
