The Woodlands parks 128th park

THE WOODLANDS – The 12-acre, $2 million Wendtwoods Park, located at 8950 Creekside Green Dr., will open in June 15.

Wendtwoods Park will be the 128th park in The Woodlands and will feature the 14th community pool. The park will include a 40′ x 40′ pavilion, a bridge that connects the pool to the pavilion, a lake for fishing, playgrounds, picnic tables, barbecue pits, two tennis courts, a sports field, a basketball court, restrooms and 50 parking spaces.

The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) and The Woodlands Township jointly funded Wendtwoods Park. It is owned and will be maintained by The Woodlands Township.
