The Colony’s 1.9M-SF Nebraska Furniture Mart goes vertical

THE COLONY – Workers have begun raising the walls to the new 1.86 million-sf Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony. The project is located along Sam Rayburn Tollway between Spring Creek Pkwy. and Plano Pkwy.

The project includes a 1.3 million-sf distribution center and a 560,000-sf retail showroom. The furniture store is scheduled to open in spring 2015.

Nebraska Furniture Mart is the first anchor of the company’s Grandscape development, a $1.5 billion, 433-acre mixed-use project.
