SAN ANTONIO - H-E-B has teamed up with Operation Finally Home to provide two new homes in the Creekhaven neighborhood on San Antonio’s far North Side to two military families. The homes are mortgage-free, furnished and stocked with nonperishable food and home supplies.
H-E-B’s work with Operation Finally Home was part of the 28th Annual H-E-B Tournament of Champions, an annual golf and tennis fund-raising event that gives H-E-B vendors and suppliers the chance to partner with the company to support nonprofit organizations.
This year’s tournament raised over $6.8 million that will benefit 200 Texas nonprofit organizations.
Operation Finally Home addresses the most pressing need of military personnel returning home from service — a home to call their own.
The Creekhaven community is one of several neighborhoods within the larger, master-planned development Bulverde Village, which is located off of TPC Pkwy.
