ROUND ROCK – The City of Round Rock has worked out an incentive agreement to become the new home of ClearCorrect, a Houston-based manufacturer of removable dental braces.

The company is planning to occupy 23,000 sf of light industrial and office space in the Chandler Creek Business Park at 21 Cypress Blvd., Ste. 1010, by August 2013.

The company plans to employ more than 100 employees at the facility, according to Anthony Penketh, chief marketing officer for ClearCorrect.

According to an incentive package approved by the City Council, the city will waive all permit fees, expedite the permit approval process, provide $120,000 in cash upon occupancy and provide a $1,000 per employee payment of up $30,000 to ClearCorrect.

In exchange for the incentives, ClearCorrect has agreed to provide at least $1.5 million in facility improvements to their Round Rock location and employ at least 100 full-time equivalent employees at the location.
