DALLAS-FORT WORTH – The new home market in Dallas-Fort Worth still has a long way to go before it recovers from the recession.
Annual single-family home starts are only about half what they were in 2006. Despite huge demand, builders cannot start enough new houses.
DFW home builders with the most new home starts in the 12-month period ending with first quarter 2015 can be seen in the chart below.
