WEBSTER - Clear Lake Regional Medical Center has opened its $92 million expansion project. A new tower includes 155,000 sf of new construction and 90,000 sf of renovations.
New tower features include a 16-bed observation unit, ten operating rooms, 25 post-operative rooms, a 30-bed adult unit and a labor & delivery unit.
"And while technology and design are both essential and important, it is truly the unparalleled dedication of our staff providing bedside care that makes our hospital exceptional," Stephen K. Jones, Jr., said.
The hospital, which opened in 1972, is the largest hospital in the Southeast Houston region and was recently named "Best Hospital in the Bay Area." The medical center currently employs approximately 2,000 staff and is served by about 900 physicians in multiple specialties.
