Heartis Cleburne underway for senior living

CLEBURNE - A new senior assisted-living center, called Heartis, is underway at 902 Walter P. Holliday Dr. The 96-bed, 61,125-sf center is on 15 acres on the east side of US 67, between Woodard Ave. and Kilpatrick St.

The facility, opening in summer 2014, will have 54 assisted-living units and a 35-bed memory-care unit. It will also feature three interior courtyards.

Heartis communities will be developed and owned by Caddis Partners affiliates and managed by Good Neighbor Care, based in Eugene, Ore.

Heartis name is derived from Caddis’ commitment to fostering a home-like atmosphere, playing off of the saying, “Home is where the heart is.”
