Houston’s Energy Corridor sparks development
HOUSTON – Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. has topped out Energy Crossing II, its newest Energy Corridor project at I-10 and State Highway 6. The eight-story, 340,000-sf building is scheduled for completion in 2013 and is 65 percent preleased to Atwood Oceanics Inc., a Houston-based offshore driller.
In a joint venture with Stonelake, Lincoln Property is also developing another office complex called Park Ten Center just across the freeway from Energy Crossing II. The 302,000-sf office complex at 16200 Park Row Blvd. will consist of two 150,000-sf, three-story buildings.
Current projects total $500 million under construction in Houston’s Energy Corridor on I-10, with another $800 million planned in the area, according to the Energy Corridor District.
