GRANBURY – Ground has broken on the 37,000-sf addition to Lake Granbury Medical Center (LGMC) located at 1310 Paluxy Rd. The estimated cost of construction is $4.8 million, according to state filings.
The addition will be used for physicians’ offices and hospital services. “We expect to move some of our specialty services like cardiology, orthopedics and pulmonary to the new building,” said CEO Derrick Cuenca. Completion is scheduled for spring 2014.
LGMC currently is an 83-bed medical center with 116 physicians on staff.
