SNYDER, SCURRY COUNTY - Custom Touch Lodges of Snyder, a 150-acre workforce housing project for oil-field workers, has officially opened on Hwy. 208.
The project has 23 lodge-type housing units and 50 RVs. Two-bedroom stick-built units, which are built onsite, also are in the works to fill the site. The site also will have one-acre lots suited for those who want to reside permanently in Scurry County.
Developers Custom Touch Village and Turn Key Solutions plan on extended services at the site, which may include meals and laundry services for the oil field workers.
