E-MDs software developer moves to North Austin

AUSTIN – E-MDs Inc. has relocated its Austin headquarters and plans to operate from three locations.

The company, which develops electronic health records software, is opening a 40,600-sf technology campus that will serve as its headquarters on Shoal Creek Blvd. in North Austin.

It also plans to open a 30,000-sf administrative campus for the finance, training and professional services groups in Cedar Park.

E-MDs, founded in 1996, operates a third location, a data center at an undisclosed site. The company employs 350 workers.
