ARLINGTON - Exeter Property Group has broken ground on an 821,000-sf speculative warehouse in the Arlington Commerce Center, just south of I-20 near New York Avenue.

“This is our first ground-up development in the DFW market,” said Barney Sinclair, principal in Exeter’s Southwest office. “We have been acquiring buildings for the last several years."

The developer has also bought two more construction sites on Lakeside Parkway in Flower Mound.

“We are going to build two buildings up there,” Sinclair said. “We have four buildings in that market and want more.”

Exeter now owns about 4.5 million sf of warehouse space in the DFW area. Exeter Property Group is based in Pennsylvania.
