Success begins in Round Rock
ROUND ROCK – Success High School is underway. The 70,000-sf facility will be designated for approximately 336 students and will include a child care facility for teen mothers, 21 classrooms for core and elective classes, and a gym.
The total cost for the construction contract is $17.8 million. The total cost includes a contingency amount of $1 million.
The permanent facility for Success High School is set to open in summer 2014. It will be built on 22 acres the district purchased in spring 2012 off Gattis School Rd., slightly southeast of Voigt Elementary.
Success High School is designed to meet the needs of students who have previously dropped out or who are at risk of dropping out of high school.
