El Paso’s Hoy-Fox Toyota, Shamaley Ford expand

EL PASO – Hoy-Fox Toyota is joining the list of El Paso new car dealerships upgrading their facilities. The dealership, located near Lee Treviño and I-10 on the East Side, began a $6 million project to expand and renovate its showroom and service department.

The service department, used by both the Toyota and Lexus dealerships, will be expanded from about 24,000 sf to almost 39,000 sf. The project is scheduled to be completed in February.

The company also plans to expand and renovate the adjacent Hoy-Fox Lexus showroom which is to begin late this fall.

Dick Poe Toyota on Montana in East-Central El Paso El Paso announced plans to build a new showroom and service department on a motel property it purchased next to its existing dealership.

Shamaley Ford, just up the street from Hoy-Fox Toyota, is in the process of completing a major expansion and renovation project as well.

The dealership’s showroom is being expanded from about 9,000 sf to just over 20,000 sf, including adding a second floor for administrative offices, an employee-training area and an employee lounge.
