DALLAS - Higher priced Dallas area homes are seeing greater sales increases than the overall market. Local real estate stats show that the biggest growth in home sales is in the upper price ranges.
Laurie Moore-Moore, CEO of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, say to Dallas area property agents they are lucky to be in business here.
“The luxury market is outperforming the market in general,” Moore-Moore said. “You only have to drive the streets in some zip codes to know this is the fact."
In the seven zip codes along Preston Road stretching from LBJ Freeway to Frisco, roughly $26 million and higher homes have sold so far this year.
However, in just the two zip codes that make up the Park Cities area, there have been 128 such sales in the same period.
