Home builders flow to China Spring

CHINA SPRING – The China Springs community has a rural flavor but saw its population increase by 4,918 people, or 67 percent, between 2000 and 2010 and has seen its student population grow by 1,000 during the past ten years.

China Spring continues to grow as a community and as a customer base.

Stylecraft, a national company, is building out its 106-home Brentwood addition, and the City of Waco has begun issuing permits for Stylecraft’s 134-home Falcon Pointe addition, Cathy Groppe, program manager for the inspection services department, said.

Meanwhile, local developer Ryan Lindsey has submitted preliminary plans for a two-phase development called Flat Rock Village that would have 133 lots.
