Landpoint hiring to serve pipeline operators in Victoria
VICTORIA – Land-surveying firm Landpoint Inc. is expanding into the Eagle Ford Shale, adding up to 30 employees to handle work on South Texas’ expanding pipeline infrastructure.
Bossier City, La.-based Landpoint uses high-definition scanning technologies in conjunction with GPS and conventional surveying methods during development of pipeline projects.
The company’s new work crews initially will operate out of its office in Victoria. However, Business Development Manager Robert Behrendt says the company could open additional locations across the shale as work expands.
In addition to its Victoria office, Landpoint has four other locations around the United States. The company will open a Midland office in the next 60 days.
