Calif. firm on Midtown UTA, UNT student housing

ARLINGTON, DENTON – Two North Texas student housing communities have been purchased by a California investor. The projects were built in 2011 and 2012 and provide housing for 650 students.

The portfolio consists of:
  • Midtown Denton at 905 Cleveland St. in Denton. Built in 2012, the asset consists of 120 units.
  • Midtown Arlington at 1121 UTA Blvd. in Arlington. The 66-unit complex was built in 2011

The Midtown Arlington apartments at University of Texas at Arlington and the Midtown Denton apartments adjacent to University of North Texas were sold to Shore to Shore Properties of Sausalito, Calif.

The apartments were sold by Hammond Jones Real Estate Development Group.
