Tavola community moves forward near Kingwood

KINGWOOD – The newest master-planned community, Tavola, is underway. Tavola will be located on more than 1,500 heavily wooded acres seven miles north of Kingwood.

Home prices are expected to range from the $150,000s to the low $300,000s.

Friendswood Development Co. community development manager Tim Fitzpatrick said they will have the first section of home sites ready in early 2014.

Meanwhile, construction at the Friendswood’s Oakhurst and Royal Shores developments is nearly complete, according to Fitzpatrick, who also encourages buyers eyeing the Oakhurst development to move quickly.

The addition of the Grand Parkway in 2015 is expected to make developments such as Oakhurst, Royal Shores and Tavola even more accessible.
