SAN ANTONIO - As of May 31, 2013, 1.08 percent of all outstanding mortgages in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area were in some stage of the foreclosure process — down from the 1.41 percent of outstanding mortgages that were in foreclosure in May 2012.

The mortgage delinquency rate is down as well, according to CoreLogic. As of May 2013, 3.65 percent of all mortgages in the metro were 90 days or more delinquent — down from the 4.37 percent of mortgages that were delinquent as of May 2012.

The May report showed 1.11 percent of all mortgages in Texas were in some stage of the foreclosure process. In the U.S., 2.61 percent of mortgages were in foreclosure.
