$32M green light on Bossy Boots Dr. in Allen

ALLEN – The Allen ISD school board has approved the construction of a $32 million, 130,683-sf service center that will house 128 district buses at the corner of North Watters Rd. and Bossy Boots Dr.

Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2013 and should be complete by December 2014, according to Greg Suttle, executive director of facilities.

Once completed, the service center will handle school bus maintenance and parking, a district maintenance department, a food service department, a transportation department, food service distribution and a district warehouse.
