Pediatric HQ exits Dallas for a Woodlands check in

THE WOODLANDS – Urgent Care for Kids, a pediatric urgent care group, is moving its headquarters to the Woodlands from Dallas, and plans to open eight clinic locations by the end of 2014.

• Woodlands location, near the Pinecroft Shopping Center off of Lake Woodlands Dr., opens October 2013.
• Katy location, 23720 Westheimer Pkwy., opens in August 2013.
• West University location will open in September 2013.

Each location creates between ten to 12 new jobs and is projected to generate between $1.2 million to $1.5 million in revenue.

Urgent Care for Kids is not the only provider to detail ambitious plans for the region. Houston-based Next Level Urgent Care opened its first facility in July 2013, and has plans to open nine more locations within a year.
