TYLER – NewcrestImage has broken ground on a 125-room Residence Inn by Marriott located on a three-acre lot on South Broadway Ave.
The $5.5 million, four-story hotel structure will replace an existing Residence Inn and is slated to open in summer 2014
The hotel will offer extended-stay residents a choice of studio and two-bedroom suites. In addition, amenities will include an indoor pool, a basketball court, a half tennis court and a large outdoor patio with its own barbeque grill and fire pit.
