HUDSON OAKS, PARKER COUNTY – The new $9 million Splash Kingdom Water Park located on a ten-acre tract at 1001 Cinema Dr. is now open. Visitors are greeted with a general store-style building and an Old West-style jail.

The park, which will have a Wild West theme in every aspect, will include a lazy river, five slides, concession stands. It is expected to bring more than 100,000 visitors to the area in its first year.

“They will use the same amount of water as a car wash, and that’s for four months out of the year when they are open,” said Patrick Lawler, Interim City Administrator of Hudson Oaks.

Splash Kingdom’s season tickets are transferable. Therefore, members in Canton can come to the new park in Hudson Oaks. Splash Kingdom’s Canton location is at 18814 I-20 or I-20 and FM 859.
