AUSTIN – Regent Property Group is reporting that 265 homes have sold over the million dollar mark in Austin year-to-date (January 1 to July 30, 2013).

The high sold price so far this year is $5.9 million (about $755.12 per sf); the average sold price is $1.6 million (about $320.44 per sf); and the median sold price is $1.4 million (about $299.03 per sf).

The average number of days on the market for luxury homes sold in 2013 is 100, with 44 as the median. The average number of days on the market for luxury homes sold in June 2013 was 67, with 42 as the median.

Statistics are based upon Multiple Listing Service information and that some of the highest priced homes are sold independently of a listing service.

June 2013 saw 46 luxury homes sold, with a high sold price of $4.9 million (about $581.81 per sf); an average sold price of $1.6 million (about $306.23 per sf); and a median sold price of $1.3 million (about $295.28 per sf).

There were 350 Austin luxury homes — properties listed for sale over $1 million — in the MLS as of July 30, 2013. The high list price for these homes was $14.5 million, with an average list price of about $2.38 million and a median list price of $1.74 million.
