Follets Island beaches $50M resort community

FOLLETS ISLAND, BRAZORIA COUNTY - Seahorse Beach Club & Residences, a $50 million, 108-acre Gulf Coast beach resort community is underway by Star Resort Group. Follets Island is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the east and Christmas Bay to the west.

The resort will feature both whole ownership and fractional ownership properties, with prices starting at $1,020,000 and $170,000 respectively. Development of its 36 four and five-bedroom beachfront homes will be limited to two rows, with staggered beach and bayside lots.

Planned amenities will include

• a 300-feet wide beach with a protected dune set-back;
• a recreation area with a large resort-style activity pool;
• a kids’ pool;
• a 10,000-sf club house:
• sports courts; and
• a crabbing pier and bay-fishing pier.
