Austin reaches new heights with $67M SkyHouse

AUSTIN – The 23-story, $67 million SkyHouse Austin, located at 51 Rainey St., will open in fourth quarter 2013. The high-rise will have 320 residential units and additional retail space.

The luxury apartments will command premium rents with a 544-sf studio starting at $1,505 per month; one-bedroom apartments range from $1,770 to $2,240, two-bedrooms range from $2,560 to $2,690, and three-bedrooms range from $3,090 to $3,480.

Royal Blue Grocery has leased 2,550 sf and Salvation Pizza has secured 2,800 sf, the first two retailers to sign on the project. This will be Royal Blue’s fifth Austin location and Salvation Pizza’s second site.
