LONGVIEW - A $6 million, 55,000-sf nursing home will be constructed at 1154 E. Hawkins Pkwy. The 140-bed facility will be completed in about ten months.

Dallas-based Mason Health will operate the facility, which will employ 120 full- and part-time employees, said Craig Kelly, Mason Health chief executive officer.

The facility will include a Medicare short-term stay wing that will be separate, with a separate dining area, from the long-term stay unit.

Mason Health was founded in 2008 and operates facilities in Coppell, Georgetown, Round Rock, Austin, Friendswood and Mesquite.
