HOUSTON – The 171-room Four Points by Sheraton Houston West, located at 10655 Katy Fwy. on the southeast corner of the Beltway 8 interchange, has been sold.

The hotel was originally built in the early 1980s, and contains traditional king and double rooms, as well as 81 two-room suites with parlors. It was renovated in 2007, when it was rebranded from Radisson Suites to Four Points by Sheraton Memorial City.

Houston-based Midway Cos. purchased the property which adds three acres to Midway’s CityCentre mixed-use development.

In June 2013, Midway acquired the former Luby’s site at 825 Town and Country Way, situated alongside CityCentre’s northern gateway and just south of the I-10 frontage road.

The former Luby’s site will be redeveloped as CityCentre Five, an eight-story, Class A office building. It will have a parking garage and 195,000 sf of office plus ground floor restaurant/retail space. Groundbreaking is expected to begin in 2013.
