ATR & Assoc. pick up Mockingbird Depot near Love Field

DALLAS – ATR & Associates have purchased Mockingbird Depot, a 68,440-sf property at 2601-2727 W. Mockingbird Ln., as part of its overall investment strategy focused on retail, office and health care real estate in Texas.

The property is 100 percent leased to 11 tenants, including J. Hilburn Men’s Clothing.

Mockingbird Depot was recently redeveloped, and the seller of the property was Prescott Interests Ltd., a Dallas-based investment firm.

Investment interest in the Love Field neighborhood is expected to grow as the Wright Amendment, a federal law limiting air traffic in the city airport, disappears in October 2014. Love Field is expected to see an uptick in air traffic as Dallas-based Southwest Airlines and other airlines offer routes that will compete with DFW International Airport.
