TYLER - The City of Tyler has issued five building permits that topped $1 million. Here's the list.

  • Tyler Independent School District filed a building permit to construct its 141,680-sf, two-story Career & Technology Education Center at 1750 Bennett Ave. The project cost is listed at $27.692 million.
     
  • The City of Tyler filed a building permit to construct the four-level, 154,650-sf Fair Plaza Garage at 208 S. College Ave. The cost of construction is more than $7.2 million.
     
  • Irving-based Supreme Bright Tyler LLC is constructing a 86,425-sf, four-story wood-framed Residence Inn by Marriott hotel at 350 W. Heritage Drive. The cost of construction is $5.5 million.
     
  • Tyler Junior College is constructing a 145,000-sf Nursing & Health Sciences Building at 1200 E. Fifth St. The cost is listed at $1 million.
     
  • A permit was issued for a 14,056-sf home at 13433 Peninsula Rd. in Whitehouse. The cost of construction is $1.4 million.
