HOUSTON – A 167,000-sf office tower will break ground at 2229 San Felipe St. in November 2013, according to John Mooz, senior managing director at Hines. The estimated cost of construction is $40 million, according to state filings.

The 17-story office tower will have nine floors of office space and eight levels of parking.

Another Hines’ project at 609 Main St. will break ground in first quarter 2014. It will include a fitness center, a 30,000-sf garden and conference center as part of the design.
