TEMPLE - Wilsonart International will move administrative offices later this September to accommodate I-35 expansion after reaching an agreement Aug. 9 to sell the property to the state transportation department.
Wilsonart will open a new administrative building in early 2015 near the company’s north Temple manufacturing facility off Northwest HK Dodgen Loop.
Employees will be housed in temporary offices while construction is expected to start early in 2014.
About 100 employees of the almost 60-year-old multinational company will relocate to Gateway Center in Temple in late September.
According to Kris Manos, president of Wilsonart Americas, “This will be a complex relocation, involving both office and manufacturing locations.”
In November 2012, Wilsonart became an independent company for the first time in nearly 50 years.
