McKinney: Emerson $25M global HQ moves in
McKINNEY – Emerson Process Management’s Regulator Technologies is in the middle of moving into its new $25 million global headquarters.
The new three-story, 128,000-sf headquarters will anchor The Gateway development at the interchange of US 75 and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. The Gateway project will also include a hotel and event space for the city.
Construction began in August 2012, and construction costs were estimated at $16.5 million, according to state filings.
Emerson Process Management’s Regulator Technologies headquarters includes offices, a customer training center, and a fitness center for roughly 130 engineering, research and development and corporate staff.
The Emerson business unit in McKinney for more than 50 years. The new headquarters at The Gateway will replace the company’s 51-year-old existing facility at 310 E. University Dr.
