SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio's Alamo Ranch has made a list of 20 master-planned communities ranked by home starts at midyear 2013. The study, compiled by Metrostudy, includes a total of ten master-planned communities from Texas.
Alamo Ranch, developed by Galo Properties had 657 starts from midyear 2012 to midyear 2013 — placing the community at No. 7 in the country by total number of starts.
This was a 14.3 percent increase over the midyear 2012 number which landed the community at No. 4 with 575 starts. The community is currently 50.7 percent built out.
