PASADENA - The Houston Area Safety Council has broken ground on a two-story, 67,000-sf office and educational building located at 5213 Center St. The estimated cost of construction is $17.5 million, according to state filings.
The building, to be completed in 2013, will include a state-of-the-art computer lab with 725 workstations, a 220-seat auditorium and 800 parking spaces.
The building represents the first phase of a new campus of multiple buildings sitting on 30 acres.
