McKinney’s Westridge community on nation’s best selling list

McKINNEY – The Dallas area’s Westridge master-planned community has made the list of 20 master-planned communities ranked by home starts at midyear 2013. The study, compiled by Metrostudy, includes a total of ten master-planned communities from Texas.

Westridge, developed by D.R. Horton Homes had 364 starts from midyear 2012 to midyear 2013 — placing the community at No. 19 in the country by total number of starts.

This was a 43.9 percent increase over the 253 starts at midyear 2012. The community is currently 63.9 percent built out.
