SAN ANTONIO – Near the southeast corner of I-10 and Loop 1604, 25 acres have been purchased for a new Class A community. Oden Hughes will build an apartment complex that will feature 950 units.

Plans call for building the project out in three phases over the next five years. Construction on phase one, a total of 350 units, is set to begin March 2014. Those units are expected to open in mid-2015.

The units in phase one would range in size from 479 to 1,350 sf. Rents will range from $800 to $1,750 a month.

Oden Hughes also plans to sell off five acres for medical-office use, and one and a half acres for retail development.

The Oden Hughes’ project will be part of the Landmark — a 98-acre, master-planned community in the works by Fulcrum.
