LONGVIEW – Longview’s Planning and Zoning Commission gave its approval to plans to add about 21,000 sf to a medical office building on the growing campus of Longview Regional Medical Center.

The request, which includes changing the orientation of the yet-to-be-constructed building, was filed because the hospital had more requests from physicians for space than was available in the original plan.

The original three-story building was expected to include 61,700 sf, but, if approved by the Longview City Council, the structure would now be 82,655 sf.
